NEWS UPDATE FOR BOOK #3:
I finally have movement again on my third book. I haven’t been able to announce it, because of delays related to the Harper Collins Union Strike, but now that both parties have agreed to some terms, I can't wait to share more news soon. My third book is due to release on the Clarion imprint in 2024.
For those of you unaware of what’s been happening in publishing, some of Harper Collins’ workers, including my editor, had been on strike since November 10th, 2022. Brian Murray and his people team at Harper Collins were at an impasse and refused to provide employees with fair wages, union protection, and a commitment to diversity.
I’m thankful an executive editor had stepped in to oversee and work on our project while my editor was on strike. Now that my editor is back, return here for more news soon on our search for an illustrator.
